Curriculum Programs

Our curriculum program is designed to educate, entertain, and help students retain American history and civics through interactive, engaging lessons with historical figures. Each program contains 5 real-time lessons with our historical figures and additional enrichment resources for students. Individual lessons can be changed to meet the needs of educators and students.

Available Curriculum Units:
Students will discover how the American federal government was created through the following lessons:
  • The Constitutional Convention: The Creation of a New Government
  • Federalism and the Great Compromise
  • Articles I-III of the United States Constitution
  • Federalist v. Anti-Federalist
  • The Bill of Rights
This unit introduces students to each of our historical figures, with the opportunity to learn about the lives of these amazing Americans. Lessons will be conducted by the historical figures themselves.
  • Who was Benjamin Franklin?
  • Who was Abigail Adams?
  • Who was Prince Hall?
  • Who was Betsy Ross?
  • Who was Alexander Hamilton?
In this unit, students will discover how the 13 original American colonies developed their own unique culture. Students will learn about the hardships and triumphs of colonists and the actions that led to American Independence.
  • The 13 Colonies
  • Everyday Life in Colonial America
  • The French and Indian War and Its Impact on the Colonies
  • Colonial America: Causes of American Independence
  • Declaration of Independence
Students will discover the founding documents that created the foundation of American government with the following lessons:
  • The Declaration of Independence
  • The Articles of Confederation
  • Creating America’s Constitution: The Constitutional Convention
  • The United States Constitution: Articles I-VII
  • The Bill of Rights
This unit is designed to introduce elementary school students to government with the following lessons:
  • What is government?
  • Different Levels of Government
  • Creating America’s Constitution
  • Responsible Citizenship
  • American Symbols
Students learn of the meaningful contributions of the following African American patriots in this unit:
  •  Prince Hall
  • Crispus Attucks
  • James Armistead Lafayette
  • Phillis Wheatley
  • Elizabeth Freeman (Mum Bett)

Educators may select any of 5 American History Live Lesson Plans to Create Their Own Curriculum Program.
