Beyond being credited for creating the first American flag, Betsy Ross lived a life of patriotism, service, and entrepreneurship. Did you know that Betsy sewed American flags for 50 years? Betsy Ross also ran her own upholstery shop after her first husband died in service to American independence. Betsy looks forward to sharing about her experience in early American history, and teaching students the importance of American symbols!
