American History Live is an exciting educational program with a mission to educate, entertain, and help students retain American history and civics. Our program provides students across America with a deeper appreciation of our nation’s history.
Benjamin Franklin, Abigail Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Prince Hall, and Betsy Ross, accompanied by voice-over talent, enter the classroom in real-time to help educators make a memorable impression of American history.
American History Live engages the students in a meaningful way that helps them retain the lesson plan. We offer a range of lessons on American history and civics that align with state and national standards. We can tailor the lesson plans, scripts, and assessments to meet your individual classroom needs.
Our educational program is available free of charge to all American educators and is available in three different formats. Our historic visit program features a historical figure who provides a unique, first-person account of their life and experiences in early American history. Our second program is a five-lesson, in-depth curriculum where our historical figures teach lessons on history or civics topics. The third is our weekly homeschooling class, which requires pre-registration, enabling students to engage in lessons with our historical figures at the educator’s discretion.
Our historical figures are also available for trivia events! $100 for an hour of trivia, questions provided by American History Live. Discounts are available for nonprofit organizations.
